INNOVATIVE, SUSTAINABLE AND ENERGY- ECONOMICAL CLIMATE-CONTROL
A pleasant room climate in hot summers through resource- and climate-friendly district cooling. As compared to conventional units, district cooling yields savings of up to 70% of electricity consumption and, as a result, reduces CO 2 emissions. The cooling center utilizes, among other things, cool water from subterranean wells.
RESOURCE-FRIENDLY WATER USE
Being consistently sustainable means paying attention to small details. Which is why extremely economical water-saving solutions with super-efficient sanitary installations and fittings are utilized in the MONACO.
Immune Office Technology. In addition to noise protection, sufficient daylight, ergonomic furnishings and effective workflows, the MONACO offers innovative ventilation and hygiene standards that set new standards for office spaces. Even after COVID-19, there will be viruses – but just effective protection from the next wave of flu is reason enough to act in a targeted manner.
At the latest since COVID-19, awareness of the risk of the communication of diseases via aerosols has increased. Viruses and germs attach themselves to these fine mists that enter the
atmosphere when we exhale and remain airborne for longer periods. For those using these spaces for hours at a time, this can form a health risk. UV-C air sterilizers are an efficient means of combatting this. On request, the MONACO provides such filter units, which, according to the manufacturer, achieve a sterilization rate of 99.9%. The UV-C light employed is invisible and the units are virtually noiseless. the resulting air quality is a great relief to many allergy sufferers.
For every application of ventilation technology, there is an optimum heat recovery system. As we see it, the ultimate solution for office buildings is the combined circulation system (CCS). And that is exactly what we are installing in the MONACO. Our ambition is to attain 100% separation of inlet and outlet air for office spaces, simultaneously with high-efficiency heat recovery. In this way, contamination of inlet air by virus/bacteria-containing outlet air as well as by unwanted odors and moisture can be eliminated, and users provided with optimum hygiene.
For cost reasons, ventilation systems in office buildings are rarely equipped with a dehumidification function. But high humidity is just what promotes the growth of germs. And hot, humid weather causes high degrees of humidity in office spaces. For this reason, the MONACO is installing ventilation systems with a dehumidification function added – yielding a two-fold advantage for users: a clear improvement in comfort and a clear reduction in unhealthy microorganisms.
A stable digital infrastructure and stable telecoms technology in the MONACO prevent connection blackouts. Internal 5G communications systems make mobile work easier, enabling flexible and efficient work processes.
